Phase 1b of the COVID-19 Vaccine Allocation Plan starts on Monday, Feb. 8th

According to Alabama Public Health, Phase 1b of the COVID-19 Vaccine Allocation Plan starts on Monday, February 8th, 2021.

Here is a list of people who are eligible for vaccination in this phase:

1. Health care workers and first responders, as before

2. People age 65 and older

3. Frontline essential workers as follows:

• Corrections officers

• Food and agriculture workers

• U.S. Postal Service workers

• Manufacturing workers

• Grocery store workers

• Public transit workers

• People who work in the education sector

• Childcare workers

• Judiciary

• Ministers/Clergy
