If you or your organization would like to use Sixteenth Street Baptist Church for an event, please fill out the building request form below. Event approval or denial will be provided in writing. Sixteenth Street Baptist Church reserves the right to decline building use for activities not deemed appropriate for the environment. We also reserve the right to close the facility at any time for this Church’s intended use, restoration or repair.
A $100 deposit is required to hold all event dates. The full balance is due two weeks before the event. Monies must be paid by the date indicated on the approval letter or the date may be cancelled, and the deposit forfeited.
We can provide audio, visual, or other technical equipment as needed for an additional fee. We can also provide music, sound systems, or musical instruments as needed for an additional fee.
Absolutely no smoking or alcohol use is permitted in the church. No food allowed in upstairs Sanctuary. All arrangements involving flowers and candles must be approved in advance.
Events not ending on time will be charged an overtime rate of $25/hour.
We do request that you respect the facility as a place of worship, the House of God. All activities should representative of this fact.
